We’re currently seeking an Experienced Python Software Engineer on behalf of a technology-driven trading firm with global reach and a reputation for low-latency systems, engineering excellence, and innovation. You will join a collaborative, high-impact engineering team working directly alongside traders and researchers to design, optimize, and evolve the systems that form the backbone of the trading platform.
What will you do
- Build, maintain, and scale systems that power data processing, optimization, and trade execution.
- Develop and grow a new trading system from scratch as part of a collaborative, high-impact team.
- Design and maintain large-scale data pipelines (ETL) for ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with Traders and Quants to turn research insights into production strategies.
- Learn and apply new technologies in a fast-paced, data-driven trading environment.
Who you are
- 1–3 years of experience in a trading or similarly high-performance technical environment.
- Solid understanding of large-scale data processing and ETL/data pipeline architecture.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python; familiarity with C++ or other OOP languages is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage, optimize, and visualize large datasets effectively.
