What You Will Do
- Assist network engineers in maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise grade systems (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers).
- Monitor performance and uptime with industry tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Execute routine tasks: patching, updates, inventory upkeep, and hardware replacements.
- Document configurations, incidents, and operational procedures for transparency and audit readiness.
- Support the rollout of new hardware and networking technologies with senior engineers.
- Serve as the first line for diagnosing and resolving network related incidents and service requests.
- Uphold security policies and best practices around access control, firewalls, and secure connectivity.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to resolve technical and logistical issues promptly.
- Maintain internal inventory for network equipment, licensing, and related support assets.
Who You Are
A meticulous, proactive team player who thrives in technically rigorous environments and anticipates issues before they escalate.
Your Profile
- Experience: 2+ years in network support or administration.
- Fundamentals: Strong grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing principles.
- Hardware: Hands-on with Cisco, Arista, or similar enterprise grade gear.
- Observability: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
- Security: Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote access.
- Soft skills: Organized, communicative, and able to prioritize under pressure.
- Education: Bachelors in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
