We’re partnering with a leading technology-driven trading firm seeking a Senior Security Engineer to help protect and evolve the security of a highly sophisticated global infrastructure spanning cloud, identity, endpoint, and on-premise environments.
This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional security operations and work on complex engineering challenges at scale -combining cloud security, threat detection, automation, incident response and AI security within one of the world’s most demanding technology environments.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Protecting large-scale AWS, Microsoft 365, and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Building detection and response capabilities to identify and mitigate sophisticated threats.
- Engineering security automation using Python, PowerShell, APIs, and modern security tooling.
- Strengthening identity security through Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Zero Trust principles.
- Securing AI-enabled environments and collaborating with engineering teams on emerging security challenges.
- Leading investigations into security incidents, threat activity, and vulnerabilities across cloud and on-prem systems.
- Driving security improvements across infrastructure, applications, and enterprise platforms.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience securing AWS environments, including IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config, and KMS.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies including Entra ID, Defender Suite, Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and Secure Score.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, including RBAC, PAM, SSO, SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Experience securing Windows and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, proxies, and enterprise network security.
- Experience developing automation and integrations using Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, and Git.
- Exposure to Microsoft Purview, DLP, data classification, or information protection technologies is highly beneficial.
