About the Role
You will work closely with traders, researchers, and software engineers to ensure the firms cutting-edge trading systems run with maximum performance, reliability, and scalability.
The role requires a fine balance between maintaining mission-critical stability and embracing rapid innovation. Given the highly customized nature of the trading infrastructure, curiosity, adaptability, and the willingness to explore unfamiliar technical domains are essential traits for success.
Key Responsibilities;
- Monitoring and optimizing system performance, stability, and uptime.
- Architecting, implementing, and maintaining a rapidly expanding multi-region production environment.
- Automating infrastructure and operational workflows, including deployment,testing and monitoring.
- Collaborating with traders and developers to diagnose and resolve real-time issues.
- Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks before they affect trading activity.
- Evaluating and integrating emerging technologies that enhance efficiency or reliability.
Your Profile
- Experience managing mission-critical systems (experience in a trading or low-latency environment is advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and hardware fundamentals.
- Familiarity with best practices for incident management, change control, and system monitoring.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes quickly.
- Proactive approach to optimizing systems and improving reliability.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
